alercia medical clinic

In 2009 Doorway to Peace constructed the Alercia Medical Clinic for the community of Faugasse, Haiti. The large clinic space is used by our community nurse to provide basic medical care.

Our nurse began volunteering her services several years ago to look after health of The Pilgrim School children. She expanded this volunteer service by ministering to the other children and adults in the Faugasse community.

Doorway to Peace has broadened her outreach by organizing short term medical missions trips (typically ten days). These teams provide more extensive medical services. Over 300 people have been served during each of the medical mission trips.
